Week of March 3rd - 7th, 2014

Monday:

  • Please remember your field trip permission slips! Give them directly to Ms. Romano.
  • Scratch projects due at the beginning of class:
    • Hand in printed writeup
    • To turn in the actual program,  go to "file->download to your computer" menu item, and download the program file to your computer.  Name it "period - yourname.sb2" so it looks like "per2 - christinas.sb2" for example, and email it to Mr. J..  If the file is too big to email, you can bring it in on a USB, or we will figure something out.
    • Make sure your project is shared on the Scratch website, then add your URL beside your name on this spreadsheet.  This will allow your classmates to admire your work, and you to admire theirs.
    • You will have class time to try out one another's projects
  • Continue to work on "Introduction to HTML" handout from Friday. Part 3 is the only part you need to hand in -- it's due by the end of lunchtime on Tuesday.  There won't be any class time to work on it after today.
  • Download TextWrangler for Mac - free
  • Download Notepad++ for Windows - free
  • Download Notepad2 for Windows - free

Tuesday:
  • Read "Design Principles" handout for today -- there will be a very small quiz on the contents.
  • Discuss Design Principles
